The small castle

Lily lived in a tiny house at the end of a quiet street. She often felt sad because her house was small compared to the castle. One day, she asked her mom why their house was so small. Her mom smiled and said, 'It's not about how big the house is, but how much love is inside.' Lily didn't quite understand, but she nodded and went to her room to think.

The Tiny House

Lily layed on her bed thinking about what her mom had said. Lily looked around her room. I do like my room, she thought. I am happy with my room. Lily thought about what else she liked about her home. I like that my mom is here. I like that we can all sit and eat together after mom cooks. I like that my mommy and daddy sleep close to my room so I can go to them if I get scared. Hmm...

A Special Visitor

I do like my home! And with Lily's revalation, she ran to her mom to tell her all about the love she found within the walls of her own home.

Lily realized that her home was special because it was filled with love and happiness. She ran to her mom and hugged her tightly. 'Our house is my castle!' she exclaimed. From that day on, Lily loved her tiny house more than ever. She knew that a home is not about its size, but the love inside.
