Once upon a time, in a small town called Nazareth, a young woman named Mary received a special visit from an angel. The angel told Mary that she would have a baby and that the baby would be the Son of God. Mary was surprised but she believed the angel's words. She told her fiancé, Joseph, about the angel's visit and they both felt very happy and blessed.

A decree from the ruler required everyone to return to their hometown to be counted. Since Joseph was from the family of King David, he and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem.
