Once upon a time, in the land of Egypt, a baby named Moses was born. His family loved him very much, but there was a problem. The king of Egypt, Pharaoh, was not kind to babies like Moses. To keep him safe, Moses' mother placed him in a basket. She gently set the basket afloat on the river, trusting that God would watch over him.
