Sophia was excited but nervous. Today was her first day at a new school. She wore her favorite yellow polka dot dress. As she entered the school building, she felt shy. She wondered if she would make any friends.

A New Beginning

In the classroom, Sophia saw many kids playing with blocks. A girl named Mia invited her to join. Sophia hesitated but then smiled and sat down. They built a tall tower together. Soon, other kids came over to play too.

During recess, Sophia went to the playground. She saw kids playing on the swings and slides. A boy named Liam asked her if she wanted to play tag. Sophia agreed and they ran around laughing. It was so much fun!
