Soo-Jin was both excited and nervous. She was moving from Seoul, Korea, to New York, America. She wondered about the new friends she would make. But she also worried if she would fit in.

The Big Move

On her first day of school, Soo-Jin felt alone. Some kids pointed and whispered because she looked different. This made her sad. She missed her friends back in Seoul.

First Day Blues

Soo-Jin decided to share her culture with her class. She brought Korean snacks and taught some Korean words. To her surprise, many kids loved it! They wanted to learn more.

Finding Courage
