Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a small white cat named Pat. Pat liked to nap. 

One day, Pat saw a rat. The rat was small. He had a long tail. Pat ran after the rat, but the rat ran into a hole in the wall. 

Pat stopped and sighed. "Maybe another day," he thought.

One day, while Pat was napping under the tree, he saw a small grey rat scurrying across the yard. The rat was small and quick. He had a long tail and bright eyes. Pat's eyes widened with curiosity.

The Rat's Visit

Without a second thought, Pat jumped up and started to chase the rat. The rat ran fast, but Pat was faster. They raced around the yard, over the fence, and through the bushes. Pat was determined to catch the rat.
