Makena and Cyrus learn their numbers.  Each number plays with Makena and Cyrus in a variety of ways.  Numbers 1-10.

Makena and Cyrus Love to Learn

Makena and Cyrus loved to learn new things. One day, they found a magical book in the library. The book was full of numbers that came to life! The first number they met was Number 1. Number 1 showed them how to stand tall and be proud.

The Magical Numbers

Next, Number 2 appeared and invited Makena and Cyrus to play a game of catch. They had so much fun tossing the ball back and forth. Then, Number 3 joined them and taught them how to hop on one leg. Number 4 showed them how to make a square with their arms and legs. They laughed and played all afternoon.

As the sun began to set, Number 5 brought out a basket of apples. Makena and Cyrus counted the apples together. Number 6 helped them arrange the apples in two rows of three. Number 7 taught them a fun song about counting to seven. They sang and danced with joy.

Learning to Count

Finally, Numbers 8, 9, and 10 appeared together. They formed a giant number line and invited Makena and Cyrus to walk along it. With each step, they counted out loud from one to ten. By the end of the line, Makena and Cyrus felt like number experts. They thanked the magical numbers for all the fun and learning. As they walked home, they couldn't wait to share their new skills with their friends.
