Lina's father woke up because the tent was cold. He noticed Lina was missing and went searching for her. Hearing a noise, he rushed towards it and found Lina with the dragon. He realized the dragon was hungry, not angry. He quickly went back to the tent to get some fresh fish.

Lina and The Dragon

In a tent deep in the wood, Lina's father awoke. The air was chilly, the fire had broke. He reached for Lina, but she was not there. His heart skipped a beat, he felt a scare. He peeked outside, the morning was gray. Where could Lina be, wandering away? He grabbed his coat and put on his shoes. Into the forest, he went with no time to lose.

The Chilly Morning

The trees were tall, the path was unclear. Father called for Lina, hoping she'd hear. 'Lina, oh Lina, where could you be?' But only silence answered from the trees. He heard a rustle, a whisper, a sound. He followed the noise, his steps were bound. With every step, his worry did grow. Where was his Lina, he needed to know.

The Forest Search

Through the trees, he saw something bright. A dragon with scales, a marvelous sight! Lina stood near it, her eyes open wide. Father rushed forward, fear he couldn't hide. But Lina turned, her face full of glee. 'Look, Father, look! It's friendly, you see?' The dragon was gentle, not fierce or mean. It shimmered in colors of blue and green.

A Surprising Sight

The dragon spoke softly, its voice was deep. 'I woke up hungry, from a long sleep.' Lina listened closely, her heart full of care. 'Father, it's hungry, it needs food to share.' The dragon nodded, its eyes full of hope. Father thought quickly, he needed to cope. 'Stay here, Lina, I'll be right back.' He rushed to the tent, with no time to slack.

The Dragon's Tale

Father reached the tent and found the fish. Fresh from the lake, the dragon's wish. He hurried back through the forest path. Hoping to end the dragon's hunger wrath. Lina sat waiting, the dragon by her side. Its eyes were gentle, its mouth open wide. Father arrived with the fish in hand. The dragon's eyes sparkled, like stars in the sand.

Fetching the Fish

Father laid the fish down on the ground. The dragon moved forward, without a sound. It gobbled the fish, scales shining bright. Lina clapped her hands, filled with delight. The dragon roared softly, a thankful song. Lina and Father knew they belonged. In that moment, a friendship was born. With a dragon who'd been so forlorn.

A Feast for the Dragon

The dragon spoke, 'Thank you, my friends. For your kindness, my hunger ends.' Lina smiled and patted its nose. Father watched proudly, his heart arose. They played with the dragon, till the sun was high. Laughter and joy, under the sky. The dragon promised to visit again. Lina and Father waved, till the very end.

A New Friendship

Lina and Father returned to their tent. Happy and tired, the morning well spent. They talked about the dragon, so grand. And the new friendship they hadn't planned. 'We'll see it again,' Lina said with a grin. Father nodded, warmth within. They snuggled together, under the stars. Dreaming of dragons, and adventures afar.
