A young girl named Evanna and her brother Derrick embarks on an imaginative adventure at the playground and the grocery store of Columbus, Georgia, but she must learn the importance of staying close to their parents to stay safe.

Having fun, Staying Close

Evanna and her little brother Merrick loved going to the playground. They could play on the swings, slide down the slide, and climb the jungle gym. One sunny day, Mommy and Daddy took them to their favorite playground. Evanna and Merrick were so excited, they ran ahead. But Mommy called out, 'Remember to stay close!'

The Playground Adventure

Evanna and Merrick ran straight to the big slide. Evanna climbed all the way to the top and slid down with a big smile. Merrick was a bit scared, but Evanna held his hand. Together, they slid down and laughed. Mommy and Daddy clapped and cheered for them.

The Big Slide

After playing for a while, Evanna saw a butterfly and wanted to follow it. However, she remembered that she needs to stay close to her parents. Merrick came up to her asked to push him on the swing.

The Lost Moment

Mommy and Daddy were watching Evanna and Merrick close by. Mommy said, "You guys are doing an awesome job staying close and where we can see you."
Daddy added, "We have 5 more minutes left then we're going to the grocery store."

Finding Help

Mommy and Daddy held Evanna and Merrick's hands while they all walked to the car together. They felt so safe all together. 

Reunited

The next day, Mommy and Daddy took Evanna and Merrick to the grocery store. They loved helping pick out fruits and vegetables. Merrick sat in the shopping cart while Evanna picked apples. They remembered to stay close to Mommy and Daddy. It was fun to shop together.

Grocery Store Fun

While shopping, Evanna saw a colorful cereal box and wanted to look at it. She started to wander off but remembered the playground. She quickly went back to Mommy and Daddy. 'Good job staying close,' Daddy said. Evanna felt proud of herself.

Evanna and Merrick learned the importance of staying close to their parents. They had fun and stayed safe. Mommy and Daddy were happy too. They all enjoyed their time together. From then on, they always stayed close and had many more adventures.
