Billie(girl) is the main character. He is in fifth grade and just got to lunch and realized his mom forgot to pack his lunch.  He looks around the cafeteria. I have what everyone else is eating and needs to decide what to eat.

Billie, a little girl who was 7 years old, just got to the cafeteria. She opened her lunchbox and realized her mom forgot to pack her lunch. Billie looked around the cafeteria, feeling a bit worried. She saw her friends happily eating their lunches. Billie needed to figure out what to eat.

A Lunchtime Surprise

Billie decided to ask her friends for help. She walked over to her friend Emma, who was eating a peanut butter sandwich. 'Hi, Emma, can I have a bite of your sandwich?' Billie asked. Emma smiled and gave Billie half of her sandwich. Billie felt happy and thanked Emma.
