A Wild Day at the Zoo

Sage and Bibi went to the zoo one sunny day. They were excited to see animals and play. With tickets in hand, they walked through the gate. Sage couldn't wait; he thought it would be great!

A Trip to the Zoo

First, they saw monkeys swinging on trees. They jumped and they laughed, feeling the breeze. Sage giggled as one made a funny face. The monkeys were quick, like they were in a race!

Next, they found otters in a watery space. They slid down the rocks, all over the place. Bibi said, 'Look how they swim and they glide!' Sage clapped his hands, watching with pride.

Then they saw hippos, big and round. One gave a splash, making a sound. Sage laughed as water flew high. 'Look at them, Bibi!' he gave a happy sigh.

Next, they saw snakes with scales so sleek. One hissed loudly, making Sage peek. Bibi held his hand and said, 'Don't be afraid.' Sage felt brave as he watched the parade.

They stopped for lunch near the lions' den. Sage ate his sandwich and counted to ten. Lions roared loudly, but they were so far. Sage whispered, 'They're like kings, a shining star.'

Next, they saw penguins waddling around. They slid on the ice, making a funny sound. Sage laughed loudly, holding Bibi tight. The penguins were silly, a wonderful sight.

As the day ended, they walked to the gate. Sage felt sleepy; it was getting late. 'Did you have fun?' Bibi asked with a smile. 'Yes,' said Sage, 'Let's come back in a while!'
