Things work smoothly at first, and the animals revel in their freedom and have equality. However, the pigs become power-hungry and become the new oppressors of the animals and become indistinguishable from humans.

1984

Once upon a time on Animal Farm, the animals woke to a beautiful morning full of promise. They had decided to run the farm on their own, with no humans to rule over them. The pigs, Snowball and Napoleon, were busy making plans for all the animals to work and live together. Everyone was excited to begin this new chapter of freedom and equality.

A New Dawn

The fields were golden, and the animals worked hard to bring in the first harvest. It was a time of joy and celebration as they gathered more food than ever before. Boxer, the strong and loyal horse, worked the hardest, always inspiring others. They shared the fruits of their labor equally, true to their promise of fairness.

The First Harvest

Snowball had a grand idea to build a windmill that would make their work easier. The animals were thrilled at the thought of having more time to rest and play. They all agreed to work on this great project, dreaming of a better future. But Napoleon seemed to have different thoughts, hidden behind his stern gaze.

The Windmill Plan

One day, Napoleon announced that Snowball was no longer part of Animal Farm. The animals were shocked, but Napoleon told them it was for the best. Clever the dog, who was always by Napoleon's side, barked in agreement. The farm had to move forward, Napoleon said, with him as the sole leader.

A Sudden Change

Life on the farm started to change. The animals worked longer hours, but somehow, there was less food to go around. Boxer never complained, trusting Napoleon's leadership. The pigs, however, seemed to be living better than ever, which made some animals begin to wonder.

Harder Work, Less Food

The Seven Commandments they all lived by started to fade from the barn wall. In their place, new rules appeared, written by the pigs. 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others,' read the most shocking one. The sheep's old song seemed like a distant memory.

The Broken Commandments

The animals slowly realized that they were not living the dream they had fought for. Boxer, now tired and old, could no longer work. The pigs treated him unfairly, forgetting his years of service. The animals knew something had to change, but they felt powerless against the pigs who had become their new masters.

The Realization

One day, the younger animals, who had only heard tales of the revolt, began to ask questions. They could not understand why the farm was so different from the stories they were told. Together, they started to dream of a farm where all animals truly were equal. And with that dream, a new seed of hope was planted.
